About the Role

TalentorAI is partnering with an innovative AI-driven company to find a skilled Machine Learning Engineer based in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies, helping to build scalable and impactful solutions.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models, optimizing performance and integrating AI-driven solutions into production environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for real-world applications.
     
  • Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines for processing large datasets.
     
  • Optimize model performance, efficiency, and scalability.
     
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to integrate AI solutions into products.
     
  • Implement model monitoring, performance tracking, and retraining strategies to ensure long-term efficiency.
     
  • Work with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in a Machine Learning Engineering role or similar.
     
  • Technical Expertise:
     
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
     
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
     
  • Strong understanding of deep learning, NLP, and computer vision techniques.
     
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD for ML models.
     
  • Data Handling: Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and large-scale dataset management.
     
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git for collaborative development.
     
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
     
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop).
     
  • Understanding of ethical AI and model fairness considerations.
     
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced AI startup or tech company.
